About Me
I’m Fulong, a power electronics engineer and researcher based in the UK. My work focuses on converter design, wide-bandgap power devices, modelling and optimisation, current sensing, and energy-system integration.
Recently, I have been exploring how AI-assisted engineering can make power-electronics design more open, data-driven, and accessible. This includes device libraries, design agents, optimisation workflows, and practical open-source tools for engineers and learners.
Beyond engineering, I’m also a novelist who enjoys exploring ideas about technology, humanity, and destiny through storytelling. Writing gives me another way to question assumptions and express the creative side that complements my technical work.
Through Spirit Connect, I hope to build an open, collaborative community where engineers, researchers, hobbyists, and creators can share knowledge, exchange ideas, and contribute to an open-source ecosystem that makes power electronics more accessible and more inspiring for everyone.
